Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a senior technical consultant to lead Direct Liquid Cooling opportunities in the Hatfield Integration Centre. You will engage with customers from pre‑sales to production, translating complex requirements into practical, scalable designs and delivery plans.

You will collaborate with sales, vendors and internal teams to validate solutions, facilitate workshops, and ensure successful onboarding of services into live environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive practical experience with Direct Liquid Cooling technologies.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, power and cooling environments.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical consulting, solution architecture or pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions and operational solutions.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across vendors, customers, sales teams and technical delivery functions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for Direct Liquid Cooling opportunities, supporting customers from pre-sales through pilot, test, build and production.
• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements, provide technical consultancy and help shape effective solutions.
• Support Sales teams by demonstrating the value of Computacenter's Integration Centre and Direct Liquid Cooling capabilities.
• Work closely with vendors including Vertiv and major infrastructure manufacturers to validate solution compatibility and implementation requirements.
• Lead workshops and technical discussions with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Translate complex customer requirements into practical configuration guidance and repeatable delivery processes.
• Act as the bridge between customers, vendors, project teams, technical specialists and operational delivery teams.
• Ensure services can be successfully onboarded into operational environments and delivered at scale.
• Provide technical leadership and third-level support for complex solution challenges.
• Capture and communicate emerging technologies, industry developments and best practice across the organisation
