Job summary

Eaton's Boyd Thermal division seeks a Field Applications Engineer to provide expert pre- and post-sales support for liquid cooling solutions in data centers. You will be the technical authority for DLC, immersion and hybrid architectures, enabling design-in, deployment and optimization across hyperscale, colocation and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical or related discipline.
Formal education in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics or heat transfer preferred.
Relevant certifications in data center infrastructure or cooling technologies are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support for liquid cooling solutions in data centers.
Act as the technical authority for direct liquid cooling, immersion cooling, and hybrid architectures.
Enable design-in, deployment, operation and optimization across hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centers.
Bridge customer requirements with internal engineering, product management and manufacturing teams.
Support installation, commissioning and troubleshooting, and assist with RFQs/RFP responses.
Review mechanical, thermal and hydraulic designs and provide recommendations.
Travel across the EU to customer sites, partners and internal facilities as required.
