Astune Rise in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Dining Room Assistant to create a warm, dignified dining experience for our residents. You will support mealtimes and collaborate with kitchen and care teams to deliver high standards of service.

Full training provided; prior care, hospitality, or food service experience is beneficial. A Level 2 Food Safety qualification is advantageous.

As a Dining Room Assistant, you will play an important part in creating a warm, welcoming, and well-organised dining experience for our residents. You will support residents during mealtimes and work closely with both the kitchen and care teams to ensure a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Meal Service: Serve meals and refreshments with care, ensuring residents receive a positive and dignified dining experience.

Dining Area Preparation: Set up and clear dining areas, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Resident Support: Assist residents during mealtimes with patience, kindness, and respect for their individual needs and preferences.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and care colleagues to help ensure smooth, efficient, and person-centred service.

What We Are Looking For:

• A compassionate approach; a warm and friendly manner, with a genuine commitment to supporting others.
• Strong Teamwork skills: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and residents.
• Pride in maintaining dining areas ensuring that they are clean, safe, organised, and welcoming. We’d like you to have excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a care, hospitality, or food service environment would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.
• A Level 2 Food Safety qualification would be advantageous.
