Job summary

Progresso Search is partnering with a client to recruit a Director of Building Surveying to grow the dilapidations service line and deliver market-leading consultancy to high-profile investors and institutional clients across industrial, office, and residential sectors.

You will lead business development, manage the technical team, and ensure best-practice delivery while expanding the client base and delivering projects end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a building surveying/dilapidations service line.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships with institutional investors.
• Strong commercial focus and ability to deliver against a business plan.
• Hands-on delivery of dilapidations projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dilapidations service line and support the service line business plan.
• Coordinate business development, marketing, resourcing and knowledge sharing across offices.
• Drive improvements to templates, quality control and best practices.
• Promote the service line externally to grow the client base and revenue.
• End-to-end building surveying delivery and supervision of the technical team.
• Network with existing and target commercial clients to achieve targets.
