Williams F1 Team seeks a hands-on DIL simulator operator to own the full-motion simulator for Driver Academy, testing, heritage, and commercial activity.

You will configure vehicle models, set up hardware/software, lead live sessions, and maintain the facility to minimise downtime, while coordinating with drivers, engineers, and commercial partners to deliver consistently high-quality sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating simulation, real-time control, or complex technical facilities.
• Practical mechanical and electrical skills, including basic repairs and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with motion platforms and simulation software (rfpro, TwinCAT) is a bonus.
• Strong data acquisition and telemetry knowledge.
• Methodical approach to session planning, configuration, and data management.
• High standards of documentation across maintenance, system configs, and issues.
• Solution-focused, proactive about resolving problems and knowing when to ask for help.
• Strong communicator with drivers, engineers, and commercial stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own and execute Williams F1 Team’s full-motion DIL simulator for non-F1 activity.
• Plan and deliver simulator sessions end-to-end; configure vehicle and track models.
• Set up hardware and software; actively lead sessions on the day.
• Maintain the facility with a proactive schedule to minimise downtime.
• Manage the simulator calendar to balance competing demands.
• Ensure sessions are executed with the highest reliability and professionalism.
