Qualifications

• Qualifications in or a sound, practical understanding of engineering principles. (Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred).
• Industry Expertise: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer within Civil Construction, Precast, Concrete, heavy manufacturing, Steel, or the broader construction industries (ideal).
• Credible IT 'nous'.
• Technical Skills: The ability to confidently read complex engineering drawings, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Commercial & Cost Savvy: Strong knowledge of estimating, tendering, and a deep understanding of manufacturing cost drivers.
• Contractual Acumen: In-depth knowledge of contractual matters and a high level of commercial awareness to successfully navigate complex infrastructure projects.
• Dynamic Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. You know how to bring positive energy to external clients while keeping internal teams aligned on time, cost, quality, and OH&S.

Responsibilities

• Drive our Humes digital transformation strategy and manage the development and implementation of the digital training plan.
• Lead and manage Digital Projects across the Humes business unit to deliver innovative processes and customer-centric solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements.
• Embed changes via Holcim change management processes and support the development of a 5-year operational innovation and technology strategy.
• Plan and lead digitisation of operations administrative processes and promote a safety culture.
