Job summary

Builder Depot is undergoing a digital transformation from its head office in North London. The role will own our systems and drive staff productivity with real responsibility from day one, landing on the shop floor within weeks.

You will lead multiple software rollout projects, train staff, and coordinate with vendors and developers to deliver value across the business, including AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and drive to improve things.
• Strong people skills and ability to bring staff along.
• Organised and able to juggle several projects.
• Comfortable around code and APIs; uses AI tools where they help.
• Data driven with strong attention to detail.
• Thinks creatively and takes the lead.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive with updates.
• Programming experience is a plus; experience with tickets, custom work and third-party developers matters more.

Responsibilities

• Rollout software and efficiency improvements across departments, automating manual processes where possible.
• Support staff productivity: training, support and follow-up on software/tools.
• Juggle multiple projects simultaneously and keep them moving forward.
• Configure systems and ensure optimal usage; coordinate with vendor support to fix issues.
• Manage custom work and integrations with software partners from brief to QA and delivery.
• Use data to identify where the business loses time and money and help fix it.
• Help the team leverage AI tools where they add value.
• Safeguard the integrity and security of IT systems.
