Job summary

QinetiQ in the United Kingdom is seeking a Change Manager for a major digital transformation at a customer site in Corsham. You will coordinate change activity and oversee the Change Request process to ensure IT services and infrastructure changes are delivered efficiently and in line with ITIL best practice.

Responsibilities include triaging CRs, assessing feasibility with stakeholders, maintaining Change Management documentation, monitoring KPIs, and driving continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of change management principles.
• Previous experience in IT change management or a related field.
• Prior experience in the public sector, preferably Defence.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing Change Requests (CRs) from submission to delivery, ensuring timescales and quality.
• Assessing the validity and feasibility of Change Requests with stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Maintaining Change Management processes and documentation for progress tracking and compliance.
• Monitoring and improving Change Management performance through KPIs and SLAs/OLAs.
• Engaging with stakeholders to align processes and provide reporting while ensuring contractual compliance.
• Managing process quality and adoption through audits, training, and awareness.
