Job summary

Howes Percival LLP is seeking a Business Analyst to join our ITTeam in Northampton. The role drives digital transformation, improves efficiency and supports delivery of technology initiatives across the firm.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to analyse business needs, champion user‑centric solutions and ensure successful delivery of changes. Prior experience in professional services or legal tech is advantageous, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project coordination and business analysis, ideally within professional services or legal sector.
Degree or equivalent experience in business, law, technology, or innovation.
Familiarity with project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall) and business analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

Support the Innovation Manager with the implementation of the firm's AI and Innovation Strategy
Maintain project documentation including timelines, action logs, and status reports
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams and vendors
Support solution design, testing, and implementation phases
Evaluate project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Support the implementation of new digital solutions, such as AI and cloud computing to improve business processes.
