Job summary

Sphere Solutions in Manchester seeks a Digital Systems Manager to drive technology-led change across the business, shaping AI-enabled automation, data visibility, and system integration. You will champion digital transformation and partner with senior leaders to implement pragmatic, scalable solutions.

You will oversee Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Power Platform initiatives, shaping company-wide AI strategy while mentoring teams and delivering measurable business improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or workflow automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience delivering digital transformation or technology improvement projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• A passion for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the company's Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID.
• Drive the adoption and optimisation of Microsoft Copilot and AI technologies across the business.
• Design and implement automation solutions using Power Automate and the wider Power Platform.
• Develop Power Apps and workflow solutions to improve business processes.
• Create dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement technology-driven improvements.
• Manage digital transformation projects from concept through to delivery.
• Improve data integration and information flow between business systems.
• Work closely with operational and departmental leaders to understand challenges and deliver solutions.
• Support the development of long-term AI, automation, and technology strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to create competitive advantage.
