We're seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Manager to join our management team. You will oversee the design, optimisation, and development of our Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and other digital solutions. This pivotal role will see you leading a team of dedicated digital system analysts and specialists to ensure our digital systems meet the dynamic needs of clinicians, administrators, and patients.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest & experience in digital healthcare and problem solving. Equally as important to these skills will be your understanding of clinical and administration workflows and processes within an acute Trust.
This is a wide-ranging, key strategic role that draws on project management skills, collaboration, stakeholder management and EPR/digital systems knowledge.
The Digital Systems Manager leads a team of analysts to support, design and optimise the Trust’s Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and associated systems.
The post holder provides expert advice on system design, clinical and administrative workflows, NHS data standards and reporting requirements. They ensure systems are safe, integrated, reliable and aligned with operational needs and national standards.
Working with clinical, operational and digital colleagues, the role delivers system enhancements, upgrades, user support and measurable service improvements. The post holder maintains design integrity, manages delegated resources and develops a high-performing team focused on patient safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
Leadership and line management of EPR analysts and specialists.
Accountability for EPR configuration, design integrity, optimisation and associated systems.
Compliance with NHS data, reporting, information governance and patient safety standards.
Management of delegated budgets, resources and delivery priorities.
