  • Manage API credentials securely and maintain appropriate access controls.
  • Improve appointment booking, confirmation and customer communication processes.
  • Develop efficient workflows for scheduling, engineer allocation and job management.
  • Improve engineer work orders, mobile forms, risk assessments and quality-control submissions.
  • Support stock control, equipment allocation and reconciliation.
  • Maintain and improve payment-processing functions.
  • Create operational dashboards and management reports.
  • Identify repetitive manual tasks that can be safely automated.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure systems and integrations meet data-protection and information-security requirements.
  • Document systems, integrations and important processes.
  • Assess new technology and recommend practical solutions.
  • Work with management, office teams, engineers and external partners to understand their requirements.
  • Support the longer-term development of a connected installation-management platform.
About You

You will be:

  • Comfortable taking responsibility for important business systems.
  • Able to understand an operational problem before recommending a technical solution.
  • Confident maintaining existing systems and developing new functionality.
  • Experienced in working with APIs and connecting separate business systems.
  • Capable of explaining technical matters clearly to non-technical colleagues.
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities within part-time hours.
  • Careful when handling customer and business data.
  • Focused on producing reliable, practical and easy-to-use systems.

  • A good understanding of authentication, user access, information security and data protection.
  • Evidence of successfully delivering practical technology improvements.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver work effectively within a part-time role.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience supporting field-service, installation, logistics or workforce-management operations.
