Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Digital Learning Development & Delivery Co-ordinator to lead and support the digital skills programme for adult learners. The role includes coordinating tutors, promoting classes, and ensuring quality education across the county.

You will manage course administration, attendance and learner progress, with around 20% teaching time and travel to visit tutors or attend meetings. An enhanced DBS check applies.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with relevant IT/digital skills training experience.
• IT-specific qualification at least Level 3 or A Level IT, or substantial digital field experience.
• English and Maths at NVQ Level 2 or above; strong QA/QI experience in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing digital skills provision across Leicestershire to ensure high-quality learning.
• Promote classes, recruit learners, and handle course administration and tutor support.
• Manage attendance, behaviour, and moderation; oversee staff pool and delivery schedule; some teaching (~20%).
