Job summary

York College is seeking a Digital Skills Coach to help teachers make confident and effective use of digital technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment. You will work directly with teaching staff to develop their digital skills and pedagogy, providing practical training, coaching and support across Microsoft 365 tools, AI and emerging technologies.

You will help drive digital innovation across the College, exploring immersive learning, 360° content and Microsoft Learning

Qualifications

• Experience using digital technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
• Interest in AI and emerging educational technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Degree or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop teachers' digital skills and pedagogy through practical training and coaching.
• Provide support across Microsoft 365 tools, AI and emerging tech.
• Drive digital innovation across the College, exploring immersive learning and 360° content.
• Translate technology possibilities into practical classroom ideas for teachers.
