Job summary

Westcountry Schools Trust (WeST) is seeking a Digital Service Centre Manager to lead our Digital Service Centre from the Plymouth HQ, delivering reliable, modern services for staff across 31 schools and central teams. You will guide incident, change and problem management, drive automation and knowledge management, and ensure services meet security and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Sound judgement, empathy and a practical, customer-focused approach.
• Experienced in digital operations, infrastructure or service leadership across a multi-site environment.
• Strong people manager who can set priorities, motivate colleagues and maintain a customer service focus.
• Experience in IT service management, incident, request and problem management, ideally ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first and second line support remotely and on site to primary schools and central services.
• Plan on-site school visits and oversee incident, service request, change and problem management; asset and device operations.
• Oversee planned maintenance and technical changes; contribute to Trust-wide projects and migrations.
• Coordinate suppliers and contractors and triage escalations from secondary-school teams.
• Strengthen service continuity and expand the Service Centre’s capability.
