Digital Manager (Programmatic) - Independent Consultancy - London (Hybrid) - Up to £50k

Operating as a trusted advisory partner, the business challenges traditional media auditing and consultancy models by offering high-impact, data-led advice across the media supply chain-including agencies, platforms, and internal client structures.
With digital transformation at the heart of their growth, the team is expanding and seeking a Programmatic specialist who's passionate about solving complex problems and influencing strategic media decisions. It's a collaborative, insight-driven environment, where mature thinking and deep digital expertise create real value for clients.
The Job
As Digital Manager (Programmatic), you'll lead key workstreams across digital and programmatic projects, delivering insightful, data-driven consultancy for major global brands. You'll combine technical understanding of programmatic platforms with analytical rigour and strategic thinking to help clients make smarter advertising decisions.
You'll work across diverse data sets, create actionable insights, and partner with clients to evaluate programmatic strategies, technologies, and performance. You'll also play a central role in developing internal frameworks, tools, and best practices that elevate the team's consultancy offering.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and evaluate programmatic investments across platforms like DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon Ads, etc.
Turn complex campaign data into insights that guide client strategy and performance
Help clients establish digital KPIs, measurement frameworks, and reporting standards
Stay ahead of industry developments in programmatic, ad tech, and inventory quality
Contribute to technical agency assessments during pitch processes
Project-manage analytics and reporting workstreams, ensuring quality and timeliness
Work with internal consultants, client teams, and agency partners to deliver high-impact recommendations
Support the development of best-in-class digital tools and processes
You
Have 3-5 years of experience in digital media-either at an agency, media owner, consultancy, or client-side
Possess a strong grasp of the programmatic ecosystem, transparency initiatives, and platform capabilities
Can confidently navigate and extract data from platforms like DV360, TTD, and Amazon Ads
Bring strong analytical skills-comfortable manipulating data and building stories from complex data sets
Communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively to stakeholders of all levels
Are proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced consultancy environment
Excel at balancing strategic thinking with attention to detail
Are confident managing multiple projects and working with both internal and external stakeholders
