Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a Digital Print Operative in Bishop's Stortford to join a busy print production team. The role involves preparing and sizing work, applying correction curves, and maintaining quality checks to meet customer specifications.

Working hours are rotating 2-days-on/2-days-off, 06:00–20:00 (06:00–19:00 on Fridays and Saturdays). Experience with HP Flatbed, Agfa, or EFI Vutek is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a print production environment.
• Thorough understanding of print production practices and processes.
• Experience with HP Flatbed, Agfa and/or EFI Vutek equipment is desirable but not essential.
• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious approach to work.
• Flexible team player with a positive attitude.

• Select the correct media profiles and RIP jobs ready for printing (training can be provided where required).

• Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets customer and job specifications.
• Maintain workflow in line with the production schedule.
• Report major production issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations.

Shift Pattern

Rotating 2-days-on, 2-days-off schedule:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
• Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday.

Hours: 06:00‑20:00, with shorter shifts of 06:00‑19:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
