Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced Digital Print Finisher to join its busy production team in Tiverton, UK. You will operate a range of finishing equipment and ensure materials are finished to a high standard and dispatched on time.

The role requires hands-on experience with creasing, folding and booklet making machinery, plus strong attention to detail and safety awareness. You will support other production areas during peak periods and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating print finishing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience within a commercial print or digital print environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within print production.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment including creasing, folding, and booklet makers.
• Prepare printed materials for finishing and dispatch.
• Check finished work for quality, accuracy and consistency.
• Cut, creasing, folding, trimming, stitching and booklet making to customer specifications.
• Maintain finishing equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements.
• Work from job sheets and production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Assist with packing and dispatch when required.
• Support other areas of production during busy periods.

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Operating finishing equipment including:
  • Creasing machines
  • Folding machines
  • Booklet makers
• Preparing printed materials for finishing and dispatch.
• Checking completed work for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Cutting, creasing, folding, trimming, stitching, and booklet making to customer specifications.
• Maintaining finishing equipment and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Working from job sheets and production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Assisting with packing and dispatch when required.
• Supporting other areas of production during busy periods.
• Previous experience in a Digital Print Finisher role.
• Proficient in operating:
  • Creasing equipment
  • Folding machines
  • Booklet making machinery
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of print finishing processes and materials.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
