Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking a Project Co-ordinator within its digital teams to support system wide health and social care projects. The role involves working with Project Managers to initiate, plan, design, execute, monitor and close projects.

Based at Queen Alexandra Hospital or St Mary’s Hospital, this temporary 12-month position supports the Digital PMO and broader IM&T programmes.

Qualifications

• First degree or equivalent experience plus further training and experience to diploma level equivalent.
• Project Management Qualification
• Experience of supporting the development of standard activities.
• Experience of supporting the deployment of standard processes.
• Experience of devising and maintaining standard templates to record and measure deployment activities.
• Experience in identifying process gaps and devising methods to close those gaps.
• Experience of delivering training.
• Experience of building networks of associates in different functions.
• Experience of supporting planning activities for organisation-wide change activities.
• Experience of successful support to a projects implementation and delivery.
• Experience of successful project management and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers to initiate, plan, design, execute, monitor and close projects.
• Assist with business case development and planning activities, risks and logs management.
• Coordinate tasks and represent Project Managers in their absence.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, time and cost constraints and realise benefits.
• Manage projects within a site or health economy.
