Job description

We’re looking for a Digital Officer to join our Content Team and lead on the day-to-day management of our university website – optimising user journeys, developing engaging and innovative content, and playing a key role in training and supporting our network of website editors.

This role is for you if you:

  • Understand the power of UX and ensuring users have a great experience online.
  • Have an analytical approach to digital content development, using data to inform and test your decisions.
  • Are confident managing a varied portfolio of projects, using agile project management and working in sprints to plan, test and deliver improvements.
  • Love working collaboratively, including to deliver training and support colleagues in their role as website editors.
  • Have an eye for compelling web content, as well as excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Are a brilliant communicator, who can translate technical issues into actionable next steps and project plans.
  • Are curious about where websites are heading next – and how to optimise them for the future.

The Digital Officer sits within our Content Team, which is part of the University’s wider Marketing Team. Together, we’re responsible for raising the profile of Norwich University of the Arts, as well as promoting the University to prospective students across the UK and internationally.

You’ll be joining a small, committed team, and will also work closely with our in-house developers and external consultants, to continually refine and improve our website and wider digital presence. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
