Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in London is seeking a Director of Digital Modernisation to sit within the technology team and provide independent senior-level expertise, enabling executives to drive value from technology and improve business performance.

You’ll must be operating at Director level within consulting and have deep expertise in financial services transformation engagements, with the ability to lead major programmes and deliver tangible outcomes across digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience at Director level within consulting, blue‑chip advisory.
• Deep knowledge of strategic IT issues and digital transformation.
• Experience running major programmes with strategic and bottom-line impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital and technology strategy, operating model, governance.
• Drive product strategy and innovation for expanding digital capabilities.
• Lead IT cost reduction, outsourcing and end-to-end IT transformation.
• Review IT platforms, re-platforming, rationalization and consolidation.
• Oversee IT due diligence, carve-outs and merger integration planning/execution.
• Provide interim IT leadership and project turnaround.
• Directors lead/co-lead small teams delivering projects.

Currently working with a leading C-Suite Advisory organisation in search of a Director of Digital Modernisation to sit within the overarching technology team and provide independent senior-level expertise; enabling executives to drive value from Technology improving upon business performance.

You’ll must be operating currently at Director level within consulting and have a deep specialism within financial services transformation engagements.

Key deliverables of the Director:

• Digital and Technology strategy development, operating model, capability and governance design.
• Product strategy and innovation, assisting our clients with the strategy and execution of growing the digital capability of their products and services.
• IT cost reduction, IT outsourcing and end to end IT Transformation.
• IT platform/systems/infrastructure review, re-platforming, rationalization and consolidation activities.
• IT due diligence, carve-out, and merger integration planning and execution.
• IT crisis management, interim IT leadership roles, and project turnaround.
• Directors lead and/or co-lead small, focused teams in delivering projects.

The right candidate to join our client as their newest Director:

• Must have experience in a top tier blue-chip consulting environment on the Advisory end.
• In depth technical knowledge and experience in a range of strategic IT issues.
• Experience running major projects and programmes with significant strategic and bottom line impact.
• Proficiency in delivering engagements of all sizes, from inception through to completion.
• Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
