Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Digital Midwife to lead the development and utilisation of electronic documentation within the maternity service. You will manage BadgerNet, Oracle Millennium, NIPE and Genome Audit systems, optimise usage, and improve data quality. Training and auditing will drive clinical effectiveness and reporting.

You will work within the Maternity Clinical Governance team alongside another Digital Midwife, with flexibility for hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital maternity records preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to train staff on EPR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electronic patient record within maternity services.
• Coordinate and oversee the Electronic Patient Record data collection and extraction.
• Ensure that national reporting requirements are achieved via the system.
• Use data to analyse clinical effectiveness and publish data for internal/external use.
• Provide training and support to staff on EPR usage.
• Support the implementation and use of the Trust’s EPR within maternity.
