Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and creative Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive to join a well-established and highly successful property business based in Chelmsford.

Working as part of a dynamic marketing team, you'll play a key role in developing the company's digital presence, creating engaging content and helping take an already successful marketing strategy to the next level.

This is a varied, hands-on position that would suit someone who loves social media and content creation but also has broader digital marketing experience across email campaigns, websites, paid social and analytics.

The Role

As Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Creating engaging content including posts, videos, graphics and other digital assets
• Managing multiple social media accounts and maintaining a consistent brand presence
• Working closely with internal teams to support wider marketing campaigns and objectives
• Monitoring social media performance and analysing engagement and campaign results
• Producing reports and recommendations to continually improve digital performance
• Supporting the creation and management of paid social media campaigns
• Creating original content for websites, landing pages and blog posts
• Managing day-to-day website content updates and requests
• Delivering email marketing campaigns, newsletters and mailshots
• Liaising with branches and internal teams to source information and content for marketing campaigns
• Supporting company publications, events and wider marketing activity
• Working with external suppliers where required
• Identifying new marketing opportunities, trends and initiatives
• Providing general support to the wider marketing team

About You

We're looking for someone creative, commercially minded and genuinely passionate about digital marketing.

Ideally, you will have:

• At least 2 years' experience within a marketing or social media role, either in-house or agency-side
• Experience managing multiple social media accounts
• Hands-on experience creating and delivering social media campaigns
• Experience with paid social advertising, including Meta Business
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills
• Knowledge of platforms such as Mailchimp or similar
• Experience updating and managing website content using WordPress
• Confidence using social media management and analytics tools
• The ability to analyse campaign performance and make recommendations
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• Video content creation and editing experience
• Experience managing online reviews and communities
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience supporting or coordinating networking events
• An interest in or previous experience within the property industry
