Job description

International Member Engagement Executive

Location: London

Hybrid working: Two days in the office and three from home.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time (35 Hours)

Salary: Up to £32,462pa depending on experience

You need to be organised, able to work to tight deadlines, and have experience in digital delivery including email campaign building software, editing of web-based content, and the use of social media for marketing.

Overall purpose of this role:

You will work with UK and international colleagues and stakeholders to support the delivery of member engagement programmes and messages through our digital channels, evaluating the success of these communications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build email invitations and event pages that follow best practices and brand guidelines, to agreed objectives and timescales.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the administration of member engagement plans, working with colleagues, contact members, member groups, and Council Members as necessary.
  • Provide support for the management of LinkedIn member groups, including the management of the invitation process and related administration.
  • Support international colleagues in creating digital content that follows best practices and guidelines, including basic image editing and document creation.
  • Monitor and process enquiries from members through a central international inbox, providing relevant and timely information as required.
  • Work with ICAEW teams across UK and international offices to develop key data reports on member engagement, collating and keeping meticulous records on event engagement to measure activities against targets and KPIs.

Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with business needs.

Candidate Profile:

Requirements include:

  • Demonstrable experience in digital delivery including email campaign building software (Dotdigital desirable but not required), editing of web-based content, and the use of social media for marketing.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems essential (D365 experience desirable).
  • Experience in analysing data and creating reports.
  • An understanding of audience segmentation and best practice marketing techniques.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with at least a basic level of skill in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as part of an internationally based team and with various stakeholders across different cultures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with reporting.
  • Good written English is essential, with copywriting skills desirable.
  • Organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and proactively identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
  • A driven self-starter, with a calm and flexible approach and a can-do attitude.

An understanding or interest in the accountancy sector is a plus.
