Crop Intellect Ltd. in Lincoln seeks a Digital Manufacturing & Process Improvement Intern to support a business-critical project.

You will review production processes, identify inefficiencies and develop practical digital solutions across operations, data analysis, and automation. This 200-hour internship (full-time/part-time considered) offers hands-on experience in a live manufacturing and R&D environment, working with the founder and technical team to deliver measurable improvements and

Competenze

• Student or recent graduate with interest in manufacturing and digital transformation.
• Relevant study areas or exposure to operations or data analytics.
• Motivation to learn and apply digital solutions in manufacturing settings.

Mansioni

• Observe and map production and administrative processes to identify bottlenecks.
• Analyse workflows from materials receipt to dispatch and propose improvements.
• Develop SOPs for key manufacturing activities and test digital tools.
• Investigate automation, AI and digital workflow options and assess feasibility.
• Create and test digital proofs of concept: spreadsheets, checklists, dashboards.
• Collect and analyse operational data and present findings to management.
• Support implementation planning and cross-functional collaboration.
