Rolls-Royce in Derby is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Digital Supply Chain to join the Aerospace Procurement team, driving supplier industrialisation, risk assessment and cost reduction initiatives across Civil, Business Aviation and Defence sectors.

You will manage APQP/PPAP processes, develop enterprise tools such as Net Inspect and Power BI, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to delivery industrialisation plans while supporting the transformation of the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience in Manufacturing Engineering within complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong supply chain, supplier-facing, or Procurement Manufacturing Engineering background with APQP/PPAP.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier industrialisation plans and cross-category oversight using APQP and PPAP.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical communities, functional teams and suppliers to support industrialisation and cost programme delivery.
• Drive technical product cost reduction activities and ensure targets are met through idea generation and programme execution.
• Identify and resolve technical barriers to industrialisation and develop opportunities via Zero Defects and new initiatives.
