Job summary

Rolls-Royce Derby is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Procurement to support quality, cost and industrialisation across aerospace supply chains. The role focuses on owning technical packages, managing drawings and changes, and enabling First Article Inspection.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, drive cost reduction, and ensure APQP/PPAP processes are followed while developing capabilities in a safety-first, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Quality: support with quality issues and ensure closeout actions; drive right-first-time delivery with suppliers.
• Technical Package: own technical packages, manage drawings and design change, assess obsolescence, ensure PPAP/APQP compliance.
• Product Cost: support cost reduction activities to meet targets.
• Strategy: support opportunities to deliver targets via existing strategies (Zero Defects) and develop new opportunities.
• Industrialisation: manage industrialisation plans and cross-category oversight per APQP/PPAP; develop enterprise knowledge and compliance reporting.
