Job summary

Explore Manufacturing is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join the Digital Manufacturing team in the UK. You will work with experienced digital specialists to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance manufacturing operations and reporting.

A portfolio of dashboards and data improvement projects will form a core part of the role. You'll contribute to testing, implementation, and governance of digital tools, while developing your skills through structured mentoring and access to

We're looking for a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing Digital Manufacturing team. Whether you've come through a degree, apprenticeship or have gained experience in a digital, data, engineering or manufacturing setting, we'll provide the support and development to help you build a successful career. What you'll be doing Working alongside experienced digital specialists, you'll help deliver technology and data solutions that improve how our manufacturing facilities operate. You will:

Responsibilities

• Support digital improvement projects across our manufacturing operations
• Help develop reporting and dashboards using Power BI
• Prepare, analyse and improve operational data
• Support manufacturing systems and digital platforms
• Assist with testing and implementation of new digital tools
• Create process documentation and user guidance
• Work with operational teams to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support data quality and governance activities
• Learn how digital technology can drive safer, more efficient and more sustainable manufacturing We're less interested in finding someone who already knows everything and more interested in finding someone with curiosity, enthusiasm and a desire to learn.

You might have:

• A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Data, Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• An interest in manufacturing, engineering, technology or digital transformation

It would be beneficial if you have some exposure to:

• Power BI or Power Query
• Microsoft Power Platform
• Databases or SQL
• Reporting, automation or data analysis
