Job summary

Boots UK in Nottingham is seeking a Digital Implementation Manager – UAT Lead to shape the UAT strategy across the Boots App and a major digital transformation programme. You will guide a talented team of eight, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality and readiness.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Implementation, you will transform business requirements into risk-based testing criteria, manage environments, data, access, and defect resolution, and drive delivery with accountability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading complex UAT for customer-facing digital change.
• Experience aligning testers, SMEs, tech teams, and suppliers around priorities.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized with ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience testing mobile apps or e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the UAT strategy, standards, and integrated test plan across workstreams.
• Transforming customer journeys and business requirements into risk-based test coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Lead UAT readiness, ensuring environments, data, access, and resources are in place.
• Managing progress reporting, defect triage, escalation, resolution, and retesting.
• Holding delivery teams and partners accountable for actions, evidence, and timescales.
