Job summary

HDR seeks a Digital Design Lead (Mechanical) to drive discipline BIM work, manage models, and deliver digital outputs per project scope. You will lead the discipline model, ensuring accurate content and integration with other disciplines using Revit, Navisworks, ACC/Forma, and standard BIM workflows.

You will coordinate reviews, maintain model health, and uphold company standards while collaborating across engineering teams to enable efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent with industry experience.
• Minimum 6 years related industry experience.
• Advanced skillset in Revit and document management infrastructure.
• Advanced skillset in 3D coordination tools (ACC/Forma & Navisworks).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and communication tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering/architectural concepts.
• Knowledge of ISO19650 standards and discipline codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discipline model and BIM elements per DDP and project scope.
• Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and digital delivery output.
• Be skilled with software used to produce the designs identified in the Digital Delivery requirements.
• Understand interactions with other discipline models and documentation.
• Model BIM elements with correct constraints in the 3D environment.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams within scope, schedule and budget.
• Maintain the discipline model including coordinates, scales, orientations and sheets.
• Coordinate design reviews and 3D coordination processes to ensure model health.
