Job summary

Social Security Scotland is seeking a Product Lead within the Digital Directorate to own and drive the development of critical platforms that underpin public services. You will work with the Apps & Platforms team, design scalable services, and maintain secure, resilient systems that support benefit applications, client communications, data sharing and reporting.

The role requires strong product leadership, collaboration with technical and service management colleagues, and involvement in hiring

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading product teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Experience hiring associates, PMs, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Line manage Associate Product Managers and Product Managers.
• Lead development of key platforms to meet user needs.
• Collaborate with technical and service management to improve live services.
• Contribute to programme management activities where needed.
