The Met Office offers a 12-month Year in Industry placement for Digital Content and User Experience, starting July 2027, Exeter. You will join our digital teams, collaborating with designers and developers to improve how users interact with our platforms and content.

The placement is full-time with hybrid working, requires weekly office attendance, and provides hands-on experience in SEO, CMS, content strategy and accessibility training while supporting product managers and UX researchers.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing undergraduate degree with marketing/digital focus.
• Interest in digital content, UX and SEO.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Teamworking and relationship-building.

Aufgaben

• Manage and deliver keyword research and support SEO projects.
• Act as product specialist for the website CMS.
• Support development of website content strategy and governance.
• Assist SEO and Digital Content Manager to design CMS and accessibility training.
• Support Digital Product Managers in delivering value to the users of the Met Office App and Website.
• Support UX Manager in gaining insights from users to feed development.
