Job summary

Robertson Group seeks a Digital Construction Manager to lead the deployment of the Digital Construction Strategy across business units. You will develop and implement bespoke digital project plans across the full lifecycle, including work winning, preconstruction, construction and handover.

With a minimum HND, you will manage multiple projects, use BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, Solibri) and coordinate with teams to drive high-quality, data-rich delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND level education in a relevant subject.
• Full driving licence.
• Knowledge of ISO19650 and its implementation on projects.
• Experience leading projects through ISO19650.
• 5+ years in BIM/Digital/Design/Construction management.
• Understanding of BIM benefits to construction.
• Experience using 3D tools for model reviews.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills in information modelling.
• Experience with Revit and creating model elements.
• Experience using 3D visualization tools (Twin Motion/Lumion/3DS Max).
• Experience with 4D tools (Synchro) and field tools (BIM360 Field).
• Knowledge of Uniclass and COBie/BCF workflows.

Job description

Digital Construction Manager will play a key role in the deployment our Digital Construction Strategy across the business . The Digital Construction Manager will be responsible for providing support to our Business Units in the development and implementation of bespoke digital project plans across the full project lifecycle including, work winning, preconstruction, construction and handover., Our principles are our roadmap to achieving positive outcomes and delivering on our purpose. They influence daily decisions around what we do and how we do things, creating an environment of growth, innovation and high performance.

• Minimum HND level education in a relevant subject.
• Full driving licence
• A clear understanding of ISO19650, and its implementation on our projects
• Experience in leading/managing a project through ISO19650
• At least 5 years of relevant technical and project experience (BIM / Digital / Design Management/Construction Management)
• A clear understanding of Building Information Modelling and its benefits to the construction Industry.
• Significant experience in applying 3D tools to facilitate collaborative model reviews
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to learn and deploy new skills
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining a deadline focus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially to help people through the information modelling process, and to raise their awareness of the potential of digital construction internally and externally.
• A passion for quality and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery., Experience in Revit and ability to create own model elements
• Experience in using additional tools to support model reviews/verification (Navisworks/Solibri/CostX, Autodesk Assemble/Autodesk Model Coordination)
• Experience in using 3D visualisation tools (Twin Motion/Lumion/3DS Max)
• Experience in using 4D Build Simulation Tools (Synchro)
• Experience in the deployement and use of field tools (BIM360 Field / ACC Build/ Viewpoints Fieldview.)
• Knowledge of element classification systems such as Uniclass.
• Experience in delivering COBie, aligned with the requirements of the NBIMS-US V3 COBie standard.
• Experience in the use of BIM collaboration format (BCF) files and associated workflows.
