The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Reading is hiring a Digital Campaigns Manager to grow our marketing function in a fast-moving startup. This hybrid role offers hands-on campaign work with a real budget and direct visibility to the founders.
You will plan, run and optimise paid and organic campaigns across social, search and email; manage budgets; brief designers and copywriters; and test landing pages to boost performance.
Perfect role for a mid professional looking to grow their Creative & Marketing career in Reading.
A fast-growing Reading startup is building out its marketing function and needs a Digital Campaigns Manager who can run with campaigns from brief to results, with minimal oversight. Creative & Marketing teams inside startups don't have the luxury of big agencies or six-week approval chains. You test, you learn, you adjust, often within the same afternoon. This Digital Campaigns Manager role sits right at that pace.
The business is small enough that your work gets seen by the founders directly. It's big enough that you'll have a real budget and real channels to play with. If you've been itching to own campaigns rather than just execute someone else's plan, this is that job.
Planning and running paid and organic campaigns across social, search and email, from concept through to reporting
Managing campaign budgets and reallocating spend towards what's actually converting
Briefing designers and copywriters, then keeping campaigns on brand and on schedule
Building and testing landing pages, ad creative and email sequences to lift performance
Tracking KPIs weekly and presenting results in plain English to the wider team
Spotting new channels and platforms worth testing before competitors get there
Two to four years' experience running digital campaigns, ideally in a Creative & Marketing agency or in-house team
Confident with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and at least one email platform (Klaviyo, HubSpot or similar)
Comfortable reading campaign data and making quick calls without waiting for permission
Strong copywriting instincts. You don't need to be the best writer in the building, but you need to know good copy when you see it
Genuinely organised. Multiple campaigns will be live at once and nothing should slip
Happy working in a small team where the job description shifts week to week
£35,000 to £51,000, depending on experience
Equity in the business, so you share in what you help build
Hybrid working from the Reading office, with flexible hours around it
A proper learning and development budget for courses, certifications or conferences
Remote-friendly culture when you need it, without losing the in-person energy
Creative & Marketing budgets keep shifting towards digital, and Reading's tech and startup scene means demand for sharp campaign talent isn't slowing down. A Digital Campaigns Manager who can prove results in a small team is exactly the profile bigger companies fight over two or three years later. Few career paths let you see your work go live, get measured and get improved in the same week.
This Digital Campaigns Manager opportunity in Reading is brought to you by The Opportunity Hub UK.
