Job Description:

Allen Lane is supporting the London Borough of Hounslow in their search for experienced digital business analysts to join on a permanent basis. As a digital business analyst, you will focus on the end-to-end user journey, understanding all components of process design from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity to join the council’s Transforming Community Experience programme and enhance how residents contact and engage with the council.

As a Digital Business Analyst, you will:

• Be responsible for analysis within the service design team, ensuring a joined-up experience meeting user needs across systems and services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams conducting research, analysis, and redesign of services, applying service-oriented thinking at every stage.
• Work with developers to detail the user experience journey at every level.
• Champion user-centred design practices and support service managers in adopting a user-centric approach.
• Co-design process improvements, define new processes, and support organizational change.

As a Digital Business Analyst, you will have:

• Significant experience with process design.
• A proven track record in digital transformation projects focusing on the end-to-end user journey.
• A user-focused mindset, advocating for the user's perspective while understanding organizational technical viewpoints.
• Extensive stakeholder management experience, capable of developing robust business cases outlining benefits, options, risks, and costs.
• Experience with projects, analysis, and research following GDS standards and principles.
