Job summary

OUP UK in Oxford is seeking a DAM Team Leader to oversee day-to-day DAM services across the Press. You will lead a team of Digital Asset Specialists, ensure efficient DAM workflows, and govern assets and metadata throughout their lifecycle.

The role collaborates with the Head of Asset Management to implement governance and system changes and to drive improvements. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, DAM workflow experience in publishing, and proficiency with data tools like Excel, Power

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Proven DAM workflows experience in publishing or content-heavy environments.
• Experience with asset management systems and learning new systems/features.
• Ability to design policies and governance documents.
• Experience documenting workflows (Visio) and data processes.
• Proficient with Excel and data tools (Power BI, SQL).
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication.
• Experience delivering projects or change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of DAM services across the Press.
• Manage a team of Digital Asset Specialists and workload.
• Ensure quality, standards, and service reliability of DAM processes.
• Govern assets and metadata lifecycle from creation to disposal.
