Job summary

ACT is seeking a Digital Assessor in Cardiff to manage learner caseloads, plan and deliver digital training, and monitor progress to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes learner-centred delivery, collaboration with employers, and compliance with Welsh Government requirements.

The successful candidate will have an assessor qualification or PGCE, strong IT skills, and experience in delivering digital projects; DBS will be required and driving licence is helpful.

Qualifications

• Real word digital/IT experience.
• Experience delivering training or coaching.
• Track record of learner outcomes.
• Experience supporting digital projects from planning and design through to delivery, evaluation and reflection.
• Knowledge of accessibility, inclusive digital design, data protection and IP.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of learners, including induction and regular progress reviews.
• Plan and deliver learner-centred training using digital methods.
• Mark and provide timely feedback on learner work.
• Monitor progress and intervene to keep learners on track.
• Build strong relationships with employers to involve them in reviews.
