Halfords Group PLC is seeking a Digital Performance Analyst to own our GA4/GT M measurement and turn data into actionable insights supporting trading, merchandising and marketing decisions.

You'll be the in-house GTM/GA4 expert, delivering tagging governance, data quality and performance reporting to drive commercial outcomes. Hybrid work: 2 on-site days at Redditch with flexible home days.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in a digital analytics, digital performance, or marketing role.
• Proficient with GTM, GA4, Excel and Google Sheets.
• Desirable experience with Power BI, Looker Studio, SQL and Databricks.
• Able to identify trends and communicate findings to a range of stakeholders.
• Commercially minded, detail-oriented and proactive in approach.
• Experience managing agencies or external partners.
• Committed to ongoing personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Google Tag Manager, including requirements gathering, implementation, testing and ongoing maintenance.
• Act as the subject matter expert for GTM and GA4, ensuring accurate tracking and data governance.
• Produce regular and ad hoc performance reporting using GA4 and Power BI.
• Analyse website performance, conversion trends and customer behaviour to identify opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards providing clear visibility of performance.
• Support forecasting, business cases and optimisation initiatives with the Digital CRO Manager.
