Braintree District Council is seeking an ICT Business Support and Digital Adoption Officer to join our ICT Team in Braintree. The role blends business support with driving digital adoption across the council, focusing on Microsoft 365 tooling and digital transformation.

You will coordinate processes, liaise with suppliers, support LMS resources, and help manage budgets and service documentation. A hybrid, home/office based role with 2-3 days in the office is available; closing date 27 October

• Excellent business support and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of digital technologies and their workplace applications.
• Experience in ICT environment and supporting business support, service improvement, digital adoption or Microsoft 365 initiatives is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Coordinate business support activities for the ICT service, ensuring resilience and continuity.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 features like SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot, Power Platform.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development to support digital adoption initiatives.
• Ensure LMS resources are accurate and up to date.
• Support the service response to data and FOI requests.
• Liaise with third party ICT providers for services and training.
• Support ICT management with budgeting and strategic planning.
• Maintain ICT procedures, policies, and service documentation.
• Provide project and business support for ICT and Facilities projects on time and budget.
