Job summary

Dawsongroup Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Generator Engineer to service, maintain, diagnose and repair diesel generators and related hire equipment for a nationwide operation. You will plan visits, provide technical advice, and support the field service team while keeping accurate records and ensuring safety and quality across the service footprint.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with diesel engines and associated mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
A full valid driving licence.
An Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and maintenance on diesel generators and related hire equipment.
Plan and coordinate service, maintenance and repair visits.
Support the development and capabilities of the field service team.
Provide technical advice and assist with the preparation and operation of hire contracts.
Keep accurate records of parts used, time spent and other required administration.
