Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, family-run automotive garage in Leatherhead, Surrey. You will diagnose electrical, engine and suspension systems using advanced tools, perform precise repairs, and support junior technicians within a supportive team environment and loyal customer base.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm with no weekend work; salary ranges from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, plus

• Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in a fast-paced workshop.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engine management and diagnostic procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate diagnostics of electrical, engine, transmission and suspension systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Perform repairs and maintenance with precision, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians to promote team skill development.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently within allocated timeframes.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
