Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for a reputable main car dealership in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This role offers a supportive environment with clear progression paths and ongoing training.

The technician will service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults, and maintain professionalism with customers. A Full UK driving licence and Level 3 automotive qualification are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive Servicing and Repair.
• Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing and minor repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair customer vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately complete job cards within designated timeframes.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using industry-standard diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and fault finding.
• Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with customers.
• Contribute to a positive workshop environment, supporting team objectives.
