Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per annum + an additional £2,000 on basic salary for EV enhancement, with an OTE of up to £45,000 & uncapped bonus potential.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays on rota basis.

Lookers Skoda Guildford is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our workshop alongside 15 experienced technicians. Your role will involve carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing additional repairs.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will receive ongoing support and training, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to support your career growth.

Our technicians are essential to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology.
2. Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
3. Perform additional repairs with customer approval.
4. Complete warranty repairs as per manufacturer guidelines, including relevant write-ups.
5. Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified.
6. Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required. MOT Licence is a bonus.

Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
