Job summary

Shelbourne Motors is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults on customers’ cars within a multi-franchise environment. You will work toward a Master Technician level with training provided for the right candidate.

Day-to-day duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing, while liaising with manufacturers and customers to communicate faults and required repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong communication with customers and manufacturers.
• Ability to follow checklists and achieve first-time fixes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and verify resolution.
• Liaise with customers and manufacturers about faults and repairs.
• Record results and maintain manufacturer records.
• Support workshop planning and pre-diagnosis of faults.
