Job summary

Shelbourne Motors in Northern Ireland is seeking a Master Vehicle Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults across our multi-franchise workshop in Portadown or Newry. You will work to a first-time fix standard and stay up to date with modern vehicle technologies, with training available to develop to Master Technician level.

Qualifications

• Minimum Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and proven experience with a leading vehicle manufacturer.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication with customers and manufacturers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults.
• Repair or replace defective parts and confirm issues are resolved.
• Train other technicians in diagnostic and repair methods.
• Liaise with manufacturers and customers to communicate faults and repairs.
• Record test results and maintain records to manufacturer requirements.
• Assist in workshop planning and pre-diagnosis of faults to achieve first-time fix.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
