Circle Health Group in Glasgow is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant on a bank basis to support the Imaging Department. The role involves providing patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team, under supervision of a Registered Practitioner.

The ideal candidate will have Imaging or Healthcare Assistant experience, a Care Certificate, and be willing to progress through NVQ healthcare levels while meeting Maths/English GCSE requirements. Bank shifts cover busy periods and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Previous imaging or healthcare assistant experience.
• Customer care experience in challenging situations.
• Care Certificate or willingness to obtain; Maths/English GCSE A-C.

Responsabilités

• Provide a high standard of patient-centred care within the imaging team.
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care and maintain customer service.
• Follow NMC/HCPC frameworks and professional conduct standards.
• Demonstrate competence as Imaging Assistant within scope of duties.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Complete all mandatory training as required.

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their team of staff in theImaging

department.

This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• You work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues.
• You work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
• You conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/ Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• You demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas.
• You work alongside multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• Care Certificate.
• NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
