The Alexandra Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant (Bank) at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. This on-site role supports the imaging team on an as-and-when-required basis, covering busy periods and staff leave.

You will provide patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team, under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner, and help maintain service quality while meeting mandatory training requirements.

Formación

• Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• Care Certificate.
• GCSE Maths and English at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• You work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues.
• You work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
• You conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• You demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas.
• You work alongside multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their team of staff in theImaging department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
