The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor is seeking an Imaging Assistant to join the Imaging department on a bank basis. You will support the imaging team, provide patient-centred care, and cover busy periods and annual leave under supervision of a Registered Practitioner.

You should have an imaging or healthcare assistant background, good customer care experience, and be willing to progress NVQ levels as part of your development. This role is based in Windsor with a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
• Maths, English GCSEs at grades A to C or equivalent.

Responsabilités

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their team of staff in the Imaging department. This is a bank role working on an \"as and when required\" basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Duties of this role include:

• You work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues.
• You work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
• You conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/ Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• You demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope f your working areas.
• You work alongside multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training. Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• Care Certificate.
• NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
