A prominent healthcare provider is seeking an enthusiastic CBT Therapist or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in Greater London. This role involves delivering specialized psychological services for patients with Type 2 diabetes. The successful candidate will improve patient engagement and service delivery within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have a relevant postgraduate qualification and experience in health psychology, with a focus on addressing health inequalities and enhancing self-management. This position is pro rata for 30 hours a week, offering a salary between £56,276 and £63,176 annually.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in CBT leading to BABCP accreditation or in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
  • Experience in delivering various psychological therapies.
  • Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with Health Care Professions Council.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist psychological interventions for complex patients with Type 2 diabetes.
  • Conduct focused research to identify barriers to diabetes engagement.
  • Engage with the community for diabetes management awareness.
