Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support a major engineering programme within the Maritime Defence sector. The role requires ownership of DFMEA across electrical, mechanical, power-generation and propulsion systems and close collaboration with Lead Design Engineers.

You will facilitate DFMEA workshops, capture knowledge, document failure modes and mitigations, track actions and KPIs, and present progress to project leadership and naval stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience with DFMEA / FMEA / FMECA in defense or complex systems.
  • Ability to lead DFMEA workshops and coordinate with senior engineers.
  • Hands-on with ReliaSoft Xfmea and/or RCM++.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the DFMEA process for electrical, mechanical, propulsion and power-generation components.
  • Act as SME for DFMEA methodology and reliability activities.
  • Build and manage DFMEA databases using ReliaSoft Xfmea / RCM++.
  • Lead DFMEA workshops with design engineers and stakeholders.
  • Identify failure modes, causes, effects, controls and mitigations.
  • Track DFMEA actions, risks, progress and KPIs.
  • Produce reliability reports and programme status updates.
  • Present DFMEA progress to project leadership and naval stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, systems, design and project teams.
